The parlour hasn't opened. There are exactly two things to account for: a visit counter you can refuse, and an address left at the door.

Counting visits

Google Analytics 4 records that a page was read. It stays off until you accept the notice at the foot of the page. Decline and the tag is disabled outright, so no request is sent and no cookie is written. Your answer is kept in your own browser under mmew-consent.

Accepting means Google receives a truncated IP address, the pages viewed, an approximate city, and browser and device type. Never a name.

The seat you reserve

An address left in the form goes to Kit, who hold it and deliver one message: the parlour has opened. Kit sees the address and the date. We don't sell it, rent it, or run a newsletter behind it. Unsubscribing is one click in that message.

With JavaScript off, the form falls back to composing a mail to madame@madamewhisper.com from your own client, and Kit never sees it.

What happens in a session, later

When the parlour opens, a séance runs against an AI provider. The privacy terms for that will be published here before the first guest is summoned, and they'll say plainly where the conversation goes. Nothing of the sort runs on this page today.

Hosting and fonts

Static files on GitHub Pages, which logs requests for security and abuse handling. The Cinzel and Libre Baskerville typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google sees that request and your IP address whether or not you accept analytics.

Removing yourself

Unsubscribe from the message, or write to madame@madamewhisper.com and ask to be struck from the book. For analytics, decline the notice or clear your browser data. UK and EU visitors may complain to their national data protection authority.
